This year, National Park Week is April 20 to April 28 in the USA. To kick off National Park Week, entrance fees at many national park locations will be waived on April 20, 2024.
National Park Service (NPS) parks, programs, and partners will host events and activities during National Park Week.

On six days in 2024, all National Park Service sites that charge an entrance fee will offer free admission to everyone.
2024 NPS Free Entrance Days:
January 15: Birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr.
April 20: First day of National Park Week
June 19: Juneteenth National Independence Day
August 4: Anniversary of the Great American Outdoors Act
September 28: National Public Lands Day
November 11: Veterans Day
